One capability, many fields. Wherever what software really does matters more than what it claims, Sentinel has work to do.

If it only passed in the lab, it didn't pass.

Emulators and virtual devices are approximations, and the most protected apps refuse to run on them at all. Flows ship untested, and the first report of a broken payment comes from a user.

Claims are not behavior.

Privacy policies, store listings, SDK documentation, and test reports describe what software should do. Only observation shows what it does.

Privacy & Compliance

Software knows when it's being watched.

Apps detect emulators, test environments, and analysis tools, and change their behavior when they find them. What you observe in a lab is not what happens in the world.

04 · Why now

Regulators stopped accepting paperwork.

GDPR and DMA in Europe, COPPA in the US, and their counterparts elsewhere all turn on what apps actually do. Security rules now oblige organizations to detect and report real threats. Evidence of behavior is becoming a legal requirement.

Sovereignty went global.

Governments, agencies, and regulated industries everywhere increasingly require sensitive analysis to happen on their own premises, under their own control, not in someone else's cloud.

Everything moved to mobile; verification didn't.

Payments, identity, and daily life run on phones, guarded by tools that smart software can detect and deceive. The gap between what software claims and what can be verified keeps growing.

Leveraging a decade of experience across low level engineering, reliability and machine learning, he works closely with customers to transform their technical requirements into functional product reality.

Guillem designs the hardware for Quark-Z. His background as a chemical simulation engineer provides both the knowledge in engineering required for designing the hardware and the expertise in maths required for cryptography. He is who turns our great designs into physical reality.

What is Sentinel?

Sentinel is a platform for observing what mobile software actually does. It runs apps on real devices and records their true behavior, while the software acts as it would in the real world because it has no way to know it's being watched.

Who is it for?

Anyone whose work depends on what software really does rather than what it claims. Today we're focused on three fields: QA teams testing flows that emulators can't reproduce, privacy and compliance teams who need evidence of real app behavior, and security teams analyzing hostile or suspicious apps.

How does it work?

On real devices, and invisibly to the software being observed. Beyond that we get specific under NDA. Happy to set that up.

How is this different from emulators and sandboxes?

Emulators can be detected, and software that knows it's being watched changes its behavior. Sentinel observes software on real devices behaving exactly as it would on a user's phone. That's the difference, and it's the whole point.

Is it really invisible to the software?

The software we observe has no way to know it's being watched. Showing you that, rather than asserting it, is what the private demo is for.

Can I buy it today?

Not yet. We're building Sentinel; the core technology is implemented and passing end-to-end automated tests today. We demonstrate it privately under NDA, and we're running discovery conversations with practitioners to shape the product.

Cloud or on premise?

Both. Use Sentinel as a cloud service, or run it entirely on your premises when your data can't leave the building.

Which platforms does it support?

Android first. We're focused on Android to start, and we'll share more about what comes next as we get closer to launch.

Whose data is it, and where does it go?

Yours. Sentinel produces evidence about the software you point it at, and that evidence belongs to you. On premise deployments keep everything inside your walls.
